Beaches, Blizzards, and the End of the World

This gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come (Matthew 24:14).”

On Saturday afternoon we took our last steps on a beach on the shore of the East China Sea in Okinawa, Japan. On Sunday afternoon, we landed at DIA airport in Denver in blizzard/white out conditions.  I’m amazed at the technology we enjoy today that makes such a stark contrast happen.   It also reminds me that the barrier of taking the gospel to all nations is no longer geography. The ends of the earth can be travelled to in hours and days.

In our generation, the prophecy of Matthew 24:14 could find its fulfillment.  I pray that the Lord will raise up a massive swarm of workers for His harvest in our day.

Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus
